Over the past few weeks, some of you may have experienced intermittent web server outages, particularly over the last month. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding during this time.
After working closely with our server providers, we’re pleased to inform you that we’ve identified and resolved the underlying issues. The outages were a result of large-scale brute force attacks targeting one of our four servers. These attacks temporarily overloaded the server’s processing capacity, leading to periods of unresponsiveness.
Please rest assured that at no point was your website data vulnerable. Our robust security measures effectively blocked all unauthorised access attempts, maintaining the integrity and safety of your data throughout.
We are now closely monitoring the situation, and we’re confident that the new safeguards we’ve implemented will ensure stable and uninterrupted service moving forward.
Please note this has only effected clients on one of our servers, so the majority of our hosting clients would not have been impacted.
